This year at Man Elementary School, we are making attendance a priority, and we need your help! Each month, we’ll be recognizing students who achieve perfect attendance. 🎉
But that’s not all! Classrooms will also have the chance to celebrate after they spell out the word "ATTENDANCE." For every day of perfect attendance, they earn a letter! 🏆

Today, your child should have brought home an important flyer about our brand-new Attendance Reward and Recognition Program! 🎉
Last year our Pioneers missed over a combined 4,000 absences. One of our goals this year is to reduce the number of students who are chronically absent. At Man Elementary, we know that consistent attendance is key to academic success. When students are here, they have the best opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.
Our new program is designed to celebrate and reward students who make it a priority to be here every day, ready to learn. From special recognition to exciting rewards, we're committed to making sure every student feels valued for their efforts. We have also included whole classroom recognitions after a class has 10 days of perfect attendance. We hope our families will help us achieve our goal of improving our school-wide attendance.
Let's work together to ensure our students have the best year yet by making attendance a top priority! We are off to a great start!

Logan County Schools will be conducting a district-wide “Active Threat Drill” at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3rd. The purpose of this drill is to ensure our school community and first responders are better prepared in the event of a real threat. Please have a conversation with your child that this is simply a drill and there is no reason to be frightened; however, they should take the drill very seriously. We want to thank Logan County Schools and our first responders for making school safety the top priority. On Wednesday, September 20th Logan County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay, Drop off will begin at 10:00 and Instruction will begin at 10:15. Dismissal times will remain the same. Please let us know if you have any questions!
Attention: Pre-K Families

We will have a mandatory orientation for parents/guardians on Monday, Aug 28 at 1:30 pm. Children do not need to attend. We will be going over Pre-K policies and paperwork. This is for both classes and will last approximately 1 hour. If you have any questions, please call the school at 304-583-8316.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year begins tomorrow, Friday, February 24, 2023. 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Students must register in the attendance area in which they reside.
For Kindergarten, your child must turn five years old before July 1, 2023.
For Pre-K, YOUR CHILD MUST TURN 4 years old before JULY 1, 2023.
3-year-olds who are currently enrolled must re-enroll for the 2023-2024 school year.
